LOCAL MISSION

Our current avenues of local mission include the following:

  • COMMUNITY GROUPS - We place a high emphasis on Community Groups as the primary place where discipleship happens. This is where we connect with others, grow as disciples and live on mission with Jesus together. See the list of current groups here.
  • LAUNDRY LOVE - Once a month we go to laundromats with rolls of quarters and simply cover the cost of laundry for people. While the machines are humming away, it provides time to get to know people and build relationships.
  • SAMARITAN CENTER - Individuals and Community Groups serve at the Samaritan Center to provide a variety of services to those who are under resourced in our community. This includes hot meals, groceries, showers, clothing, laundry, mail, bicycles, resume assistance, case management, government program applications, etc.
  • DREAM CENTER LOS ANGELES - We partner with the Adopt-A-Block and Skid Row minstries of the Dream Center on the 3rd Saturday of the month. For more information and to join the team contact Steve Schimtt.

GLOBAL MISSION

Our current global partnerships include the following:

  • HAITI - We have established a long-term partnership with Connect2 Ministries under the direction of Greg Barshaw to impact the nation of Haiti. We send short-term teams during the year to do things like build churches, lead Vacation Bible Schools for kids, teach pastors' conferences, and care for orphans. The teams also provide needed resources like generators, study materials, and orphan care items. For more information on Connect2, visit connect2ministries.org.
  • FOURSQUARE MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL - A portion of everything given through Antioch is passed on to FMI and helps fund Foursquare missionaries and projects in approximately 140 nations around the world.
