  • study hall | 4-5pm

This is a dedicated time for students to come and work on homework at church, as well as get extra tutoring help that they might need. This will be a quiet, productive space for students to focus on school work, ask for help, etc. outside of their home and normal study environment (sometimes this can be helpful!). If your student requires help in a specific subject, please email Pastor Lauren ahead of time so that we can be prepared to help them the best way we can.

We want this to be a resource to the community as well, so any student in 6th-12th grade, whether they are a part of The Young is welcome. There is no cost to participate in STUDY HALL.

  • dinner | 5-6pm

We will provide dinner from 5-6pm on Wednesday nights (or until all the food is gone). Our desire is to not only meet the physical need of feeding students, but also create a space to fulfill relational needs as well.

There is no cost to participate in DINNER.

  • hangs | 6-7pm

We believe that shared experiences help us earn the right to be heard in the lives of young people, as well as create FUN relational building times together. And FUN is so important! This hour block will have many different elements to it, changing throughout the seasons. Sometimes it will be organized games, other times it will be crafts/activities, and other times free play and hangs.

  • core group | 7-8pm

Finally, students will have an opportunity to engage in reading, dissecting, processing and discussing Scripture in smaller groups. Core groups follow the DBS method to break down a passage of Scripture and encourage the students to think practically about how to apply the Scripture to their life. These groups will have flexibility when it comes to how they are broken up. Sometimes it will be co-ed, other times, gender specific. Sometimes it will be by grade, other times, it may vary.
